Keller Williams Family Reunion 2019

On February 15, we made our way to New Orleans, Louisiana. We attended the Keller Williams Family Reunion event! At Family Reunion, Keller Williams associates gather with thousands of top agents and leaders for four power-packed days of networking and training. This reenergizes us and gives us the tools to take our business to the next level. We are given an opportunity to learn from the best in the business and attend powerful sessions that build our business skills.

We have been preparing for weeks for this amazing event. We knew we wanted to match the New Orleans spirit and started thinking of cool ways to show everyone who is the Global Homes Group. We created these fun Mardi Gras themed beads! We passed these out to other Keller Williams agents to grow our referral network while we were there.

When we arrived we attended the Mastery Client Event. We had an opportunity to network with MAPS coaches and clients. KW MAPS Coaching offers award-winning programs designed for real estate professionals and business leaders committed to transforming their businesses and lives through education and coaching. We loved mingling with many of these motivational professionals.
We attended keynote sessions with Gary Keller, Co-Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Keller Williams. He talked about many things, including the successful future of Keller Williams Realty and how technology will continue to develop the real estate industry. We are looking forward to an upcoming one-on-one system. This system will cater to each client's individual needs and create a personalized experience that will enhance everyone's real estate encounter. We love advancing technology that allows us to communicate with our clients clearly and directly.

IMG_8800.jpegWe attended the regional reception for  Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee. We were honored to receive the awards for Top 5 GCI Alabama Groups and Top MREA GCI for 2018. Without our wonderful clients and friends, receiving these awards wouldn't have been possible.

IMG_8767.jpegWe met many people during the four-day event. We met Jay Papasan, vice president and executive editor at Keller Williams Realty Inc. We loved getting to meet him because we read his book The One Thing last year.

Britt Payne loved networking, meeting new people, and learning from others throughout the event. He was most excited to meet Lance Loken. He is a realtor who sold over 2,000 homes in Houston, Texas last year.  "That's impressive. He's so far ahead. Since 2011 he personally only sold four houses!" said Payne, who was fascinated by Loken's leadership of his successful team.

IMG_8769.jpegAdam Beams loved getting to meet Josh Team, the new president of Keller Williams. He was also able to meet Don Yaeger, award-winning keynote speaker and eleven-time New York Times best-selling author. He was happy to get Yaeger's autograph and pick his brain about the real estate business. Beams had the most fun networking with the top agents in the world. "I am excited to bring that knowledge back to the Global Homes Group," he said.

IMG_8600.jpgJeremy Dobbs attended several sessions with many influential speakers such as Gary Keller, Dianna Kokoszka, CEO of Maps Coaching; Nick Santonastasso, motivational speaker; and Don Yaeger, award-winning keynote speaker and eleven-time New York Times best-selling author. He loved Gary Keller's quote, "Be a master of the game, not your game." He also loved the session with Nick Santonastasso. He spoke on the theme of never giving up. He
talked about having a strong mindset and confidence. In the session with Don Yaeger, who studies teams and what makes them successful. Jeremy heard his favorite quote from the weekend, "Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth."

Our Director of Operations, Luke Krieger attend a gathering on "How to Successfully Build a 7th Level Team" during a break out session on Saturday. He is ready and excited to motivate his team with new and fun tactics he learned during that session lead by Monica Reynolds and Joe Bogar. He was excited to meet Dianna Kokoszka because we watch her inspirational videos every Global Homes Group team meeting. Luke was proud to snap this selfie with her!

We had a great weekend and it wasn't all business. We attended a NBA game and saw the Oklahoma City Thunder take on the New Orleans Pelicans. We loved the opportunities we were given and can't wait to use our newly learned knowledge and skills to work with our clients.
